PROGRAMS

The Johnson Family’s Mission 31 Foundation accomplishes its mission
through the execution of fundraising campaigns designed to provide the
necessary resources to reach its impact goals.
It starts with impact.
DAVID’S LOCKER
Since 2017, the Johnson
Family’s Mission 31 Foundation has served over 430,000 pediatric patients and
special needs children in various medical facilities, schools and hospice homes
throughout Phoenix and its surrounding communities via the Foundation’s
signature outreach program, David’s Locker. David’s Locker provides patients
and family members access to electronics during hospital visits, a portal for
communication, and a diversion during treatment and recovery. These Lockers are
key in providing a sense of normalcy in trying situations for both children and
family members alike. David & Meghan are excited to bring this outreach
program to the city of Houston as they continue their philanthropic efforts to
impact those in-need.
MISSION 31: RUN IT FORWARD GRANT PROGRAm
The Mission 31: Run It Forward grant program was established by the Johnson Family’s Mission 31 Foundation to serve residents in the Houston and Phoenix areas. The program seeks to provide assistance that will allow individuals or families to strengthen their ability to care for themselves, enhance their stability and security, and improve their quality of life or their ability to contribution to the community. Specifically, Mission 31: Run It Forward is designed to provide financial assistance to families in the Houston and Phoenix areas who are having difficulty paying medical bills or purchasing life-impacting supplies for their children. Grant applications must be submitted by a program partner, organization, facility, treatment center, healthcare professional or the like that is well-informed about the family’s financial situation, patient’s diagnosis, specific needs, etc. With grant requests being centered around our mission, the Foundation will consider payments for medical bills, treatment bills, therapy bills, adaptive technology or equipment, etc. PLEASE NOTE: At this time, grant applications are only being accepted from our current partners in the Phoenix and Houston areas, with plans to widen this reach as the grant program grows over time.
IMPACT
Thus far, the Johnson Family’s
Mission 31 Foundation has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of
individual pediatric patients and special needs children through the David’s
Lockers that were opened at four locations in the Phoenix area, prior to
David’s move to Houston. The foundation is proud to have partnered with Phoenix
Children’s Hospital, Cardon Children’s Medical Center, Emerson Elementary and
Ryan House. The Johnsons look forward to continuing this impact in the Houston
community beginning in 2020.
